Background: Reactive arthritis (ReA) is an emerging after viral infection especially respiratory and gastrointestinal related viruses. In 2020, SARS-COV2 virus sweeping worldwide with diverse symptoms prolonged post-Covid manifestations in which are arthralgia myalgia frequently present for days even months. Interestedly, covid era a part of ReA or flare autoimmune disease, it challenging. (1) Objectives: Our objective was to determine the frequency musculoskeletal recovery as well its relation diseases flares. Methods: A Prospective study done on 241 patients who admitted Rheumatology clinic from March 2020 January 2021, complaining new onset symptoms. Detailed history, Examination systems including Musculoskeletal, laboratory investigation, past history existing rheumatic 19. Results: Among median age 34.4, 36.92% had Rheumatic disease while 63.08% not. Moreover, 39% post 19 within weeks. The most frequent Musculoskeletal (74.56%), (69.36%), (10.78%). Furthermore, (Post arthritis) accounted (2.07%) monoarthritis Ankle (68.75%) flares (24.48%) (39.68%). (p ≤0.001) improved NSAID intrarticular injection glucocorticosteroid. Conclusion: Covid one environmental triggers development reactive infections. commonly affected joint mainly oral Glucocorticosteroid. References: [1]Schett, G., Manger, B., Simon, D. et al. Reactive arthritis or chronic infectious arthritis?
Microbes reach the synovial cavity either directly during bacteraemia or by transport within lymphoid cells or monocytes. This may stimulate the immune system excessively, triggering arthritis. Some forms of ReA correspond to slow infectious arthritis due to the persistence of microbes and some to an infection triggered arthritis linked to an extra-articular site of infection.

OBJECTIVE To perform a retrospective study comparing clinical and laboratory aspects of patients with acute rheumatic fever (ARF) and patients with post-streptococcal reactive arthritis (PSRA), to discern whether these are 2 separate entities or varying clinical manifestations of the same disease. STUDY DESIGN We located the records of 68 patients with ARF and 159 patients with PSRA, whose di...

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) has been described in the medical literature for over two hundred years, but its etiology remains unknown. RA displays phenotypic heterogeneity, and it is a relatively prevalent clinical entity: it affects approximately 1% of the population, resulting in enormous pathologic sequelae. Earlier studies targeting the cause(s) of RA suggested potential infectious involvemen...

In the United States, rheumatic fever had become a rarity, having virtually disappeared by the mid 1960s. Of increasing concern, however, was the abrupt rise in the incidence of rheumatic fever in th...

We present a case of retro-odontoid pseudotumor (ROP) without rheumatoid arthritis (RA) or atlantoaxial subluxation (AAS). A 76-year-old woman presented with paresthesia and weakness of both lower and upper extremities. She had no laboratory or physical findings of RA. Dynamic X-ray showed no AAS and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed a retro-odontoid mass compressing the spinal cord. Tran...
